Massive Natural Gas Explosion Lights Up West Virginia

A massive natural gas explosion has occurred in Sissonville, West Virginia, shutting down I-77 and torching at least five homes. This image reportedly shows the fire that resulted from the blast shortly after it occurred.

Feds Cite Millennium Pipeline Operator for Failure to Inspect Welds, Monitor Corrosion

Federal regulators have cited the Millennium Pipeline, already subject to a federal consent agreement as a result of previous pipeline safety violations, with additional violations of federal pipeline safety regulations.
